Blue Offshore was contracted by Subsea7 US to provide services for transpooling and transport from UK to Trinidad of 6x 14-inch ID flexible flowlines as part of the BP Cypre project. The project equipment involved was 2 x basket carousel (BC-02 23m and 3rd party 26m) and Blue Offshore’s LT-01.
Blue Offshore was responsible for the entire engineering and execution scope, including deck layout, packing solutions, seafastening and the operational crew. The equipment was mobilized in Rotterdam o/b Happy Star, including separate mob/demob of 3rd party spread The team managed transpooling activities in the UK (from static tank into basket o/b HLV) and performed final transpooling operations in Trinidad (from baskets into basket on flexlay vessel).
Blue Offshore has supported multiple loading scenario’s incl basket adjustments on wall height, engineering on hydrotesting on flowlines inside BC-02, and supported a tower swap LT-01<>LT-02 due to other commitments.
