What are we looking for?

As a Project Engineer at Blue Offshore, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by providing quality engineering expertise and comprehensive project administration support. You will play a key role in making sure we meet the needs of projects and bids on time.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role- preferred within the offshore oil & gas/Wind.
  • Good command of (Technical) English (written and spoken).
  • Strong in problem-solving: able to provide to the project manager/management (alternative) solutions for engineering problems, both standard solutions and non-standard solutions, depending upon the situation.
  • Flexibility to response to ad hoc problems and questions.
  • QHSE awareness mind set.

General Responsibilities

  • Conduct work in office and site (depending on project requirements).
  • Ensure all project-work is carried out within the requirements of the applicable Management Systems (Blue Offshore, client, vessel/yard/site). Capture knowledge within projects.
  • Coordinate issue of project related documents when delegated by project manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

Skills

  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Strong in problem solving: able to provide (alternative) solutions to technical problems, both standard and non-standard, depending on the situation.
  • Team player, but also able to organise and carry out tasks independently.
  • High QHSE awareness, behaviour, knowledge, skills, vision and standards.
  • Willingness to travel / go abroad for a few days.
